The Rossalm takes on a very cosy, cuddly air in your Alpine accommodation! All it takes is our six full-blooded South Tyrolean Alpine bedrooms – mostly double, and one with several beds for the whole family or a holiday with friends, as you prefer. Untreated wood infuses you with natural goodness, and the breathtaking view from the balcony over the Dolomites of legend adds a wow-factor extraordinaire. Walking barefoot over the rustic wooden flooring to sprawl out in front of the satellite TV is such a wonderful feeling. And – last but not least – all the comfort of your en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer. Heart, what more could you want?
The days when all that the Rossalm had to offer in the way of “wellness” was a communal bathroom, shared by all overnight guests, are long gone. It all looks very different today. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not speaking about a thousand square-metre spa! However, Alpine wellness at its best is awaiting you. A bath in the 37°C open-air hot tub is a balm for the tired legs of bikers, the exhausted thighs of hikers and the cold muscles of skiers. Before you hop in, or after you hop out, a sweat in the heat of our panoramic sauna hut will get you in great shape for your next mountain adventure. And the view from here over the breathtaking mountains of South Tyrol? It beats every square metre that others may have, hands down!

A lot of knowledge is better.
All visitors aged 14 and over must pay a local tax of €1.55 per person per night. This tax is not included in the price of your stay, and must be paid directly on site.
Fluffy bathrobes and slippers are provided in your room and are at your disposal for the duration of your stay.
Checking in and out
You can get here as early as you like, which means that your day of arrival also counts as a day’s holiday to enjoy to the full. We will then check you in properly from 2 to 6 pm. We can only accept arrivals after 6 pm after prior arrangement. Please vacate your room by 11 am on your day of departure. Depending on availability, later check-outs (up to 6 pm) may be possible, and are charged at €30.00 per person.
Cars & co.
Our Rossalm is, to a large extent, a car-free area. Before 10 am and after 5 pm, as an overnight guest, you can drive up here and park your car. Here at the heights of 2,200 metres above sea level, we recommend good winter tyres, antifreeze and winter diesel for your car (available at the local garage) in the winter months. Snow chains are a bonus but are not essential, as the roads are well-cleared. During your winter stay, parking spots in Valcroce are also at your disposal free of charge.
In winter, our shuttle will take you to our hut until 11:00 am and from 3:00 pm. Please note that the shuttle is only available on arrival and departure and is included in the price.
For transport during your stay, you will be charged 20,00 € per ride.
BOOKINGS & RESERVATIONS
Your holidays here at the Rossalm on the Plose mountain will be reserved upon written confirmation from us and the subsequent deposit of 1/3 of the total value of your stay.

CANCELLATIONS
Of course, nobody hopes for a cancellation case, but here are the conditions:
3 months before arrival free of charge
3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40% of the total amount
1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70% of the total amount
Less than 1 week before arrival: 90% of the total amount
In case of late arrival, early departure or no-show: 100% of the total amount.

Cancellation cover also in case of COVID-19 disease despite pandemic status
Occasionally, something can happen before the start of a trip. With our trip cancellation insurance you are financially covered. Should a booked stay at a hotel be delayed, or even not taken up or prematurely broken off, cancellation charges can be redeemed. In order to save you any expenses in such cases, we recommend you take out this trip cancellation insurance, with which you are covered by the Europäische Reiseversicherung’s travel insurance.

CHILDREN’S DISCOUNT
Up to 7 years old: 60% discount on standard rates.
Up to 14 years old: 40% discount on standard rates.
14 years old and over, or adults sleeping in an extra bed: 20% discount on standard rates.
Children’s rates apply only if staying with two full-paying adults in the parents’ room.
SMOKING REGULATIONS
Smokers are as welcome as every other guest at the Rossalm! However, please understand that smoking is not permitted in your Alpine bedroom or in any communal areas.
PETS
We would like to ask all dog owners for your understanding in that your four-legged friends can only be accepted upon prior arrangement and if you bring your own basket and blanket. Dogs are not permitted in the dining areas or the spa. We do not provide food for your beloved four-legged friend, but we will be happy to refrigerate it for you. We charge from 25,00 € per day for your pet.

Our free W-LAN is available throughout the entire house with security-restricted access.
